Orange and Dates Cookies

 

Those irresistible little orange and dates cookies are vegan and without added sugar!

 

For about 30 mini cookies

Ingredients:

  • 100 g Barhi dates
  • 60 g almond powder
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 40 g coconut oil (at room temperature)
  • 30 g flour
  • 1 handful of berberis berries

 

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 160 °C.

  1. Mix the pitted dates in the food processor. Add all the other ingredients and mix.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form small cookies of up to 3 cm in diameter and place them on the tray. Bake for about 10 minutes until the cookies are golden on the edges.

Tip: if you want to store your cookies for several weeks, dry them in the oven after baking. For that, leave them in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 100 °C with the oven door slightly ajar. Then place them in a metal box.
