With our delicious Sukari dates, quinoa porridge with ground almonds, agave syrup and rose petals, you’ll be able to whip up a delicious muesli in the early morning. Here’s a quick look at the different products in our Sunday Morning Box:
1. Sukari Soft dates with pit (800g)
Royal dates, as Sukari are also called, have a conical shape and a wrinkled skin. Their color is a deep brown with golden yellow hues and they have a caramelized and fruity taste with a silky honey aftertaste. These delicious dates come from Al-Qasim in Saudi Arabia. They are not too sweet, but quite soft and simply a pure delight!
2. Organic quinoa, dried fruits & nutsedge porridge (600g)
This porridge with its fruity and sweet note and the virtues of quinoa, oats and nutsedge is a fresh boost in the morning and stimulates the senses. Naturally sweetened with ground dates.
3. Organic agave syrup (450g)
If you want to eat healthy, you need to look at your own sugar intake. You’ve probably already heard of the alternative of agave syrup. Agave syrup is increasingly replacing sugar in the home. It was important to us that our agave syrup was 100% organically grown and therefore produced without any pesticides. Agave syrup is mainly used to sweeten desserts, cereals, fruit preparations, drinks, pastries, etc. At first, this syrup was only available in organic stores.
4. Organic rose petals (20g)
Most of the time, dried rose petals are used as decoration. In Persian cuisine, rose petals are used a lot in cooking. They refine fragrant rice dishes with their light aroma. Rose petals are also perfect for couscous and in combination with the spice ras el hanout. We like to add a few petals as decoration on salads, bowls, porridge, pastries, smoothies, soy yogurt or drinks.
