Freeze-dried Mango Powder Organic

Get a little tropical feeling at home now with our freeze-dried mango powder from 100% organic cultivation. In addition to our mango strips, we now also offer the freeze-dried powdered form of the mango fruit. The intense sweet fruity taste is very aromatic and popular with everyone. The gentle freeze-drying process removes moisture from the mangoes, which are then pulverised. This leaves a powder of 100% mango, which retains vitamins, nutrients and flavour. This is why freeze-dried mango powder is particularly popular in smoothies.

Freeze-dried powder/fruit – What’s so special about it?

Did you know that half a handful of freeze-dried fruit counts as a portion of fresh fruit? This can be attributed to the concentration of our freeze-dried fruits. In addition, they can be kept for a long time without refrigeration, convince with their almost unchanged ingredients, their delicious taste and are nevertheless free of additives.

How does freeze-drying work?

Freeze-drying is a particularly gentle preservation process. Our fruits are frozen directly after harvesting and then filled into a vacuum container. The resulting negative pressure causes the water to escape in the form of water vapour at sub-zero temperatures. The special thing about this process is that the intensive aroma, the natural colour and the high content of natural ingredients – including all vitamins – remain almost unchanged. And all this without adding any additives.

What is the best use for freeze-dried fruit/powder?

The whole pieces of freeze-dried fruit are great as a snack, but like the freeze-dried powder, they can also be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. For example, in

mueslis, yoghurts, desserts, porridges, baked goods or in smoothies, lemonades or teas to give the drink a fruity touch.

What is one of the biggest advantages of freeze-drying?

Because the water content of freeze-dried fruits is so low, they have a very long shelf life if stored correctly. Therefore, for long shelf life, it is important that they are placed in an airtight container as soon as possible after opening, which should be in as cool and dark a place as possible. Thus, freeze-dried fruits are, among other things, also a practical alternative when fresh products are not in season.
