What are cocoa nibs?
Cocoa bean nibs (broken pieces), unroasted. Cocoa nibs are shelled cocoa beans that have been finely crushed. The fermented cocoa beans are dried and sorted at temperatures of up to 50°C (raw up to max. 45°C). The beans are then shelled, cleaned, crushed and packed. Due to their strong cocoa aroma, cocoa nibs enhance any savory or sweet dish. The intense flavor is quickly addictive and irresistible.
What are cocoa nibs best suited for?
With their tart, dark chocolate flavor, our unprocessed cacao nibs are perfect as a topping for any cereal. They are also versatile in baking and cooking. Such as for cakes, cookies, pies and desserts. In addition, you can use the cocoa nibs for garnishing homemade chocolates, for example, as they give an extra chocolaty crunch.
