Caramelize sliced almonds
Very popular are the sliced almonds also caramelized. And the whole thing is quite easy to make yourself. To make the whole thing yourself, you only need three ingredients: Butter/lean, sugar and of course our sliced almonds. Then you just need to dissolve the butter/mercerine with the sugar and 2 drops of water in a pan. Then add the chopped almonds and let the sugar/almond mixture turn light brown over a gentle heat. Always stir the whole thing with a cooking spoon so that it gets an even color. Immediately pour the finished brittle onto a cold tray and allow to cool. Subsequently, the brittle can be crumbled/mortared if necessary.
