Organic Tiger Nuts
Tiger nut, also known as tiger nut or chufa, is a plant species of the genus Cyprus grass. The taste is slightly sweet and nutty-delicate. After harvesting, the tuber is cleaned and lightly de-oiled. The tuber fruit has been used in Africa for centuries. In Spain, the tiger nut is used to make the tiger nut milk “Horchata de chufa”.
Tigernuts are rich in fiber and an ideal ingredient for mueslis.
