Cinnamon sticks
Cinnamon is an all-rounder! At Christmas time, nothing works without cinnamon sticks. Their taste should not be missing in any gingerbread, apple strudel or over the rice pudding when baking.
But also cinnamon tea with a little date syrup is tasty. You can also get creative with cinnamon in hearty dishes, for example in Asian and African dishes. It’s a common ingredient in Chinese five-spice, ras el hanout, garam masala, and curry spice mixes.
Also ideal as a topping for really everything.
